This interview comes at a pivotal moment for Swift following their considerable success on the coastal rowing scene over the past few years.
Gareth Greunbaum tells us about exciting plans to use momentum to develop from their traditional 'everyman' affordable coastal rowing roots and provide a wider range of shells that compete with high performance Filippi Boats whilst also helping to grow the recreational market with lighter and shorter boats that are easier to use.
He explains how they are rapidly expanding using the output from a factory in Turkey which is already starting to produce single and double boats, adding to their existing supply from China.
As if this is not enough, Gareth is formulating an idea for designing a hybrid gig/quad in the future...
Clearly the coastal rowing scene is heating up and Swift aims to continue being a significant player.
